Dr Abu, who hails from India, earned a gold medal in his undergraduate studies in physical education. He subsequently obtained his Master's degree in library and information science, and a PhD in the same field, with the help of a Junior Research Fellowship. Furthermore, Abu has published numerous research papers in prestigious journals indexed in IEEE, Ebsco, and Scopus. In addition, he received the 2019 Emerald South Asia LIS Research Award for his proposal on analysing the state of school libraries in India. Apart from this, he is also a qualified Cricket Umpire in the Tamil Nadu Cricket Association, home of the well-known Indian Premier League (IPL) franchise titled 'Chennai Super Kings.'
Dr Abu specialises in a wide range of fields, including Sports Sciences, e-learning, content management, statistics, information visualisation, animation, photoshop, digital libraries, and so on.
Dr Abu offers extensive services in and out of his domain through his YouTube channel. He teaches public speaking and creative writing to high school students. He is also a YouTube animation instructor and language trainer.
