Andrey Bzhitskikh is a professional concept artist and 3D sculptor from Russia. Since childhood, he has loved to draw and gradually it grew into a profession. In 2015, he began to study 3D images and started sculpting people and different monsters, mostly just for himself as he really liked the process of creating digital sculptures. Later, Andrey began to make miniatures for bronze casting and 3D printing. Since 2020 he has been creating concepts and models for games and completed a one-year course in concept art by the famous Russian artist Dmitry Klyushkin.
Andrey has been working as a freelance illustrator for over 15 years and he has another four years of experience in 3D model development. His work includes the creation of models/assets for game engines. This work makes use of his artistic skills to enhance texturing, lighting and shading. Andrey also has experience with sculpting, polygonal modelling and texturing. His software experience includes using Zbrush, Blender, Substance Painter, Photoshop, Marvelous Designer, Foundry Mari and other software.
Andrey is currently developing concepts and creating models and textures for the indie game Xenonauts 2. During 2020, he worked as a freelance concept artist on several game projects. He was engaged in character development including creating low poly models for animation. He has also created a large number of models for casting miniatures and sculptures in bronze.
